Goddess Hathor

Goddess Hathor, one of my favorite Ancient Egyptian Goddess’s.

She is the goddess of beauty, love, dance, fertility and pleasure. Her energy is jovial, fun and playful.

🌸 Hathor is the daughter of God Ra and is sometimes called the “Eye of Ra” (a defender of Ra) a title she shares with her Sisters, Goddess's Sekhmet and Bastet.

🌸 Hathor is the Wife of God Horus, the Falcon or Pharaoh God.

🌸 In her role as the goddess of beauty, she encourages adornment with jewelry and cosmetics; an expression of self-love.

🌸 Hathor is also known as “The Divine Cow” because she is also the goddess of fertility, childbirth and children.  Cows in Ancient Egypt were important domesticated animals that provided the essentials to sustain life and represented female fertility.

🌸 Hathor is often depicted with the head of cow or as a young women wearing a headdress of cow horns birthing the sun disk.

Connect with Goddess Hathor when you need support in feeling more joy, self-love or inner beauty or wanting to be more creative.
